On the 1st of December at 14.00, the Jazz Promotion Network is hosting an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to vote in new candidates to the board of trustees. After having closed applications last week to fill the remaining 5 vacancies, we are very pleased to announce that we have seven candidates up for consideration. You can read more about those who are standing for election on our website by following the link here.

This year, we are hosting the meeting via Zoom and using an online system called Election Runner to facilitate the voting.

As with all past elections, each member or member organisation will have one casting vote. Please sign-up to attend using the links below and fill out the sign-up forms with your name and email address. Please note, you will only be able to vote if you attend the meeting. If you are not the named contact for your organisation, but are being required to vote on behalf of your member organisation, please get in touch with our Communications and Marketing Manager Daniel Garel at comms@jazzpromotionnetwork.org.uk as well as filling out your details when you sign up to register.

This year, due to the amount of positions on the board we need to fill, we have an opportunity to ensure the board membership reflects the diversity of the scene and utilises its experience – you can read more about the importance of this year’s board election here.

Using the links below, make sure to sign-up and register, read more about how the election will take place, and read statements from all the candidates running for election and we look forward to seeing you at the EGM!
