Papers and details

On the 22nd of September at 14.00, we are hosting the JPN Annual General Meeting. This will happen using videoconferencing software, enabling us to get together as a Network despite the physical barriers to us meeting in person. During the meeting we will be taking stock of the successes and challenges within the jazz community throughout 2020. Following AGMs of previous years we will be reviewing the considerable achievements of JPN over the past year, via our Chair’s report, and sharing a financial review,  as well as reporting on the Going Dutch project, via a specially made short video of its highlights.

We have decided, due to the recent pressures on everyone caused by the pandemic, not to hold elections for the upcoming board vacancies at this point. This year, we have three board members stepping down – Kenneth Killeen, Claire Furlong and John Blandford – who have done amazing work with the Network over the past few years. We are instead proposing to hold elections for new Board members at a specially convened EGM in November to allow plenty of time for us to publicise the opportunity and for members to prepare submissions for Board membership. This will require agreement by the membership at the AGM, so please read the documentation below for full details.
